Beautiful porcelain milk carton. By creating porcelain Milk Carton the Finnish ceramist Jatta Lavi reinterpreted the traditional cardboard milk brique. The Milk Carton can serve as jug for juice, milk or cream… or maybe as a vase for a flower.
It is stylish, simple scandinavian style.
All products of Jatta Lavi are handmade with small-scale methods: casting or pressing in mold.
Jatta Lavi designs and makes her small-scale production at her studio in Helsinki.
Porcelain products are fired at 1240°C. The milk carton is glazed inside.
Every piece is signed by the artist.

How to clean the milk carton: The porcelain carton is cleaned by first rinsing with cold water and then normal handwash. The outside is cleaned with a rough sponge with soap or dishwasher detergent. You can also put the jug in the dish washer on its side if you want to clean the outside.
